Enter the Throne Room
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
We have a mercy seat to flee to. A gracious king to speak with. Christ is our high priest – Who can be touched with the feeling of our infirmities. He listens. He cares. He understands.
We have access. Ephesians 1:6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. We are accepted – in the arms of His grace. As the object of divine love!
We can enter into prayer with an assurance and boldness. 1 John 5:14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:
GRACE = God DOES give us what we DON’T deserve. MERCY = God DOESN’T give us what we DO deserve.
We can find grace to help in time of need. God gives eternal life by His grace. Psalm 46:1 …God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. We must rely on God’s grace and God’s grace alone for our salvation.
