We can pray earnestly and fervently, with a living faith in the living God. Elijah could hear the rain by faith, before it could be seen. May we hear God’s whisper – that still, small voice. Effective prayer is God-energised. Elijah was a man of like passions as we are… He knew despair and discouragement. yet his passion for God sustained him. Depend upon the Lord and know answered prayer. Pray through. Where is the Lord God of Elijah? He is as close as a prayer away.
