Our vision as a church. We look forward, in glad faith and trust. Our vision must be of Jesus. John 12:21…Sir, we would see Jesus.
Jesus is in every chapter. Every line. This is what motivates and thrills us. As we sing His praise, and rejoice in His goodness, we would see Jesus. As we take each opportunity to witness, we would guide others to see Jesus. The cry of the human heart echoes still with this same plea, Sir, we would see Jesus. See Jesus as your peace. Your refuge.
Blinded minds grope in the darkness. Their only hope of deliverance is to see Jesus. This must be our vision. It is a Biblical vision.
Will we have the cry of the Psalmist: Psalm 40:8, I delight to do thy will O my God: yea thy law is within my heart.
The true work of God happens in the soul as men see Jesus. Search out this absolute truth. Let us pray to have open spiritual eyes and a mindset that reaches out for Jesus. A Holy Vision – as Isaiah. A Heavenly Vision – as Paul. A Harvest Vision – as we see the fields we see Jesus… A spiritual vision. We would see Jesus, Emmanuel. God with us. We must not lose this vision, this focus.
We would see Jesus. We must see Jesus. We will see Jesus. Our vision is that in all things He is to have preeminence.
