Nehemiah means the Lord comforts. Nehemiah’s prayerful burden prompted him to action. He and the people built together with God. Revival came from heeding and obeying God’s Word. A picture of God’s work of real revival, as we unite together in prayerful duty, and rise up and build up one another in faith.
